Merry Christmas ! Thank god it is over for another 362 days. Maybe this year I'll start my shopping before day #355. I doubt it though. I can hope though, can't I?
Milt has another 7 days at home - I'm gonna kill him before next Monday. He tried to fix the cupboard drawer and the dishwasher today -- it took him all day and of course, no one could use the kitchen while he was doing it. "Wanda, get me this" "Wanda, go into town" "Wanda, where is this?" I swear I'm gonna shove his hammer up his ass if he sends me for something once more.
Kate pouted Christmas morning cause she didn't get a DVD/VCR player - she only got a VCR ! Poor baby ! I was ready to choke her by the end of the morning. She went back to bed and wouldn't get up when it was time to get up to go to mom's for dinner - - thought she was gonna stay home, she did ! ! I think not !
It was great to see everyone again at mom's - - except Donnie of course. Even Christmas Eve, he didn't make it. We had Christmas Eve at Danny's this year - - the kids had a blast.
We were home by 7 so it was nice to relax Christmas Eve. The kids opened a gift then went to bed. Of course, it took Kwyn until after 10 to go to sleep but that is early for him. They all slept until 7:30 -- I thought I was going to have to go wake them up.
Finally, after 14 years, we had a green Christmas. I am not complaining though. Today there was a nice wind that even dried up most of the mud. Kwyn got to ride around the yard twice on his new bike then he and Milt put it in the shed for the winter. Hopefully he grows an inch or two before next spring cause we can't lower the seat any and he is a bit too short to ride it properly.
3 days of 2003 ! What a year ! Wouldn't want to do it over again, that's for damn sure. Hope 2004 is better - am suppose to go see the girl at JBJ tomorrow about funding for school. Think I might phone her and tell her I'm working so I don't have to go. But it would be nice for HRDC to pay for it - $6,500 is a lot of money for a course.

Wow - December 22, 2003 already ! 1 more day til Christmas Eve. We finished up our shopping on Saturday and now we just have to relax. All the gifts are wrapped and waiting to be brought over. Everything is in boxes so they are gonna take up the entire living room. Hope the kids appreciate what they get.

It has been a while -- almost 3 weeks ! Now there is less than 2 weeks until Christmas and I don't have my shopping anywhere near done. I wanted to do some shopping tomorrow but we have to take all the kids with us to the anniversary party so I won't get the chance to do any shopping. I hate Christmas shopping !
The Christmas party was great. Milt bought me a new dress - - I had to take it back to the store cause it was too tight but I got one that I really liked instead. John and Nancy had a good time. They didn't stay long cause John had to go to work. But we got a taxi and stayed at my mom's so we didn't have to worry about driving home. Neither of us drank much anyway but we were the 2nd last people to leave. Danny and Pam kept the kids overnight so I just had to fight Tyker for the couch except I woke up to something tickling my nose and it was Milt's foot stretched from the chair beside me. Gee, thanks !
Kylee and Kelsey are at a dance tonight {oops, is that too much personal information, we don't want anyone tracking them down} -- we have to drive back in through the snow to pick them up again ! I hate winter ! I want to move to Florida !
Kids have 1 more week of school. Kate is going to be spending all of her holidays doing homework just to get caught up. Since this Dan thing that's been going on {and maybe even before it}, she is slipping and letting school slide. The teacher had to get mad at her to get her to start working on the website for the school. Not the attitude she wants to present if she wants these teachers to help her find jobs after school.
Tomorrow night is Dennis & Audrey's 25th wedding anniversary party - should be fun. Milt is suppose to be writing a speech but he hasn't even started yet. I should get off the computer and go help him with that or he's gonna look like a dickwad up there.
