Welcome

Hi, I hope you enjoy my site. My daughter started it for me on August 6th, 2002 and we've been flying ever since. There have been quite a few changes since then; in my life as well as with this site. This is layout #5. I recently got hooked on LOTR so as a gift, Kate made this layout for me. Isn't she sweet??? I love it! It is going to be up for a long, long time. I hope you take some time to have a look around ~ there are links to my fanlistings {it is quite addicting}, my hatelistings {I'm not really mean, some things just bug the hell out of me}, my daughter's site {she has quite a few} and some fun quizzes. I have spent the last few days adding more content and I am always looking for more shit to include. If you have any ideas, suggestions or contributions, please e-mail me.

I hope you enjoy my pictures - unfortunately the pictures don't give you an accurate picture of just how insane we all are but they do signify some happy times in my life. My children are all special people {and I do mean "special"} and they mean everything to me. I love being someone's mommy but when do I get to be Wanda again? I am ready for changes. All pictures are being used with the the permission of each person. If you see your picture here and don't want some crazy stalker finding you and raping and murdering you, just ask and I'll take it down. All the pictures are, however, of my family, so I don't think that's gonna happen.

All of the recipes have been tried and tested and I guarantee your family will love them. I know I haven't gotten many new recipes up lately but I hope you do enjoy the ones that are here. If you have a favourite recipe, I'd love to list here. I will give you full credit for it. Just e-mail me and I'd love to add it. Enjoy and happy cooking

Wow it has been a really long time since I blogged, not that anyone ever reads it anyway but its kinda nice to go back and see what's been going on in my little world.

The kids have settled into school ~ Kwyn would rather stay home and play the computer or his nintendo but he goes anyway. They have all made lots of new friends and I think they are adjusting okay to their new lives. They haven't said anything different to me unless they have told their dad something different, I'm thinking we're doing okay.

Work is still going great ~ I love it. I am always so tired cause I hate going to bed but I figure I can sleep when I'm dead and until then I'm gonna have fun.

I went to see Melissa in Brampton a couple of weeks ago ~ that was fanfuckingtastic. Definitely have to go again real soon !!!! She is having a blast ~ she loves being out of Owen Sound, but who wouldn't? She is so bad though ~ she's great !

Wednesday, August 18, 2004 -
SMACKDOWN ROCKS !!!!! Jason got us tickets at the last minute so I dragged Kate with me. They were good seats too - right at the center of the ring, 2nd row. I wouldn't have wanted floor seats. It was hilarious. Some of the wrestlers still needed a few acting lessons but Billy Gunn is HUGE !!!!! Eddie Guerrero looks old and Kurt Angle's ass is soooo white. I had a blast ! ! ! ! Definitely worth the money.

The kids are camping with Jenni and Christi. They brought Kwyn into town today for a dentist appointment and he was going to stay home with me but I convinced him to go back. Not sure why but I guess I am just too nice.

Kylee is 12 today ! ! ! I can't believe my baby is almost a teenager. We are going on Friday to get her hair highlighted for her.

The bus company phoned yesterday to tell me what bus the 4 kids were to go on and where to catch it so maybe they can go back to Hillcrest. I can't get ahold of anyone in the office so I won't know til next week or the week after. I'm not sure if I would want them to anyway. I like the idea that they are only 2 blocks away so I may just leave them at Keppel Sarawak anyway.

Still haven't picked up Kate's report card. She is afraid to, I think. They say she still has some music sheets but she says she handed most of them in already. Jason leaves in a few weeks to go to school. I keep telling Kate Brantford isn't that far away. She found a design school in Oakville so it will be a bit closer than Toronto. Probably less money too.

Work is going great. We get a new assistant manager in a few weeks. Kim is going into the program next week to becom an Assistant Manager. It will be strange not to see her in the mornings before I leave but I am happy for her ~ she has been waiting for this for 18 months now.

Sunday, July 18, 2004 -
6 days til the kids come home ! Yay !  3 days after that I'll be wishing they were at his place again but I'm sure we'll manage.
 
It has been so boring here with just Kate {and Jason} and I. We have managed to spend some quality time together but usually she's getting up when I go to bed and vice versa.  We went out for supper on Friday - that was nice. We should do that more often.
 
I went to Barrie yesterday with my mom and sister and niece. That was fun ~ we haven't done that for along time. Need to do that more often too. We were home by 5:00 so I went and rented some movies ~ Matrix Revolutions and Secret Window. Both weird but okay. I have to watch Revolutions again cause I'm sure I missed some of it. I had to watch the original Matrix like 8 times and was still picking up new things I had missed from each time before. The first one was still definitely the BEST by far but ....
 
Secret Window was okay ~ kinda cute endng.  I'm not sure how many other actors could stand that much screen time without getting totally sickening but Johnny Depp pulled it off {for me anyway}.
 
I have to go back to work tonight. My assistant manager is on holidays this week so we get the "Big Boy" Monday and Tuesday. Should be ummm, interesting.
 
I finally got to Legal Aid on Friday. Have the certificate in my hot little hand ~ now I just need to phone a lawyer. There is a new one coming to Owen Sound on Tuesday {fate???} so I think I will give her a call. I just need a separation agreement done ~ hopefully he'll sign it and not have to go to Court but bring it on, baby if he wants.

Tuesday, July 13, 2004 -
The fireworks were great ! We spent the afternoon at Kelso Beach and we didn't get home til after 11. The kids were so tired but they had fun.

They are spending 2 weeks at their dad's so they can take swimming lessons. He was suppose to have someone stay at the house with them while he worked (even though he is not suppose to leave them with a babysitter while I am here available) but it turns out she is coming over in the mornings and taking my kids back to her house after swimming lessons are over then he picks them up from her place after work. Not acceptable. I only let them go because they were suppose to be at his place where at least he has the pool set up. Not just to sit at her place every afternoon. She may as well bring them home every day after swimming lessons where they belong. He is suppose to be talking to her tomorrow cause even he thought she was staying at his place. I kinda wondered why her husband and kids would think it was okay for her to stay at his place all week.

Ben's birthday party is this weekend. He has promised Kwyn that he isn't going to get drunk while he is there. If I find out he drank while he had them, I'll kill him. I should find out if he's been drinking while they are at his place too.

I have the weekend off ~ I think I'll treat myself to supper on Friday since it is payday. I still want to buy a car ~ obviously he has no intention of ever giving me the van "you expect me to put my time and money into finishing it then just hand it to you?????" so if I want a vehicle, I'm going to have to buy it myself. I hope a judge eats him alive when we go to split up the property.

I must remember to phone Marcia tomorrow to find out where the support stands. How many warnings does he get?

I have to get ready for work now. Two more nights to go then I get 2 nights off. Judy had to wear a clown costume last night and ride a tricycle ~ that was kinda comical. She is such a good sport ~ just takes the humiliation in stride. I am going to miss her when she is finished nights next month.

The kitten is driving me nuts. She bites my nose. She also tries to climb up the curtains or the screen door, whichever she gets her claws into first.

My feet are so swelled up I'll be lucky to get my boots on tonight. Must be the heat!!! And to think, 2 weeks ago I was whining about the cold/rain.
